Job description
- 5+ years of dedicated data engineering experience, demonstrating senior-level autonomy and technical ownership
- C1 English level or higher, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert-level Python programming and advanced SQL query optimization skills
- Hands-on experience with streaming systems such as Kafka, AWS MSK, or AWS Kinesis
- Proven track record of pipeline development using Apache Spark or native Python frameworks
- Technical experience managing Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake table formats on AWS S3
- Direct experience productionalizing workflows with Apache Airflow, Dagster, or AWS Step Functions
- Deep familiarity with AWS data services including S3, AWS Glue, Athena, and EMR
- Specialized experience in time-series, IoT, SCADA, or industrial sensor data modeling techniques
- Background in building data quality assurance, schema validation, and monitoring systems
- Ability to maintain core working hours aligned with the US Central Time (CT) zone
